Well, I'm one of those people whom are crazy with food. Like everybody else, I love a good junk food but we can't survive just from that, our bodies need the right nutrients to perform all the work and stress we put it through. So recently, I've decided to eat even cleaner. I'm cooking almost everyday new recipes, just creating new dishes and I can tell for sure I've been feeling a lot better and happier since I started this #EatClean #EatWell Project. As I am feeding myself with good and healthy ingridients, my imagination is also trying to figure out new and funny things to cook! In this post I'll give you some ideas and recipes for you to try at home and I'd love to hear your feedback!
So, the first #EatClean #EatWell recipe is Sweet Roasted Potatoes with Toasted Red Pepper .
This recipe is supeeeer easy! It goes well as an entrance or with bigger portions it can be the main dish.
To make it your main dish I suggest you to use:
4 medium sized sweet potatoes;
1 medium sized red pepper;
Rosemary (or Marjoran);
Salt;
Olive Oil.
How to prepare: (2 ways)
Wash really well the potatoes and the pepper, Cut the potatoes in thin slices and the pepper in rectangles.
1st way - in the oven:
Put a thin thread of olive oil through a drip pan.
Distribute the the slices and rectangles on the drip pan and put a little salt above the vegetables and rosemary.
I also suggest that you add around 10cl of water so the vegetables can cook slowly.
Put the drip pan in the oven at 120º and wait around 20 min. Through the time check if the potatoes are turning golden.
2nd way - in the fire:
Add the rosemary and the salt before putting the vegetables on the low fire.
The second recipe is Banana, Cinnamon and Honey.
I use this recipe as a snack, but it can also be used as desert!
As you can see it's not a big deal! Just cut the banana in slices, spread cinnamon above the slices and put a bit of honey on the side aaaaand... Voilá!
The 3rd recipe is the Banana, Mango, Spinaches and Chia Seeds.
I hope you guys enjoyed it! Please let me know if you tried something and how was it!
